The News Stream, the new name for former International Water Tracks, keeps readers updated on the most important ongoing international and inter-governmental processes related to water and development.
In 2009, we are here to follow 5 separate themes: the UN Commission on Sustainable Development (UN-CSD), follow-ups of International Year of Sanitation 2008, Water and Rights, Transboundary Water Management, and Water and Food. Twice a month Dr. Klas Sandström and a team of international experts will provide visitors clarity, context, news and analysis on the well-intentioned and complicated processes, negotiations and actions for preserving and protecting the natural world while enhancing human development.
